FIREANTS, short for “For In-context and REAl time Navigation and Traffic information Systems," is the central processing engine that collects all real time data that are fed to the systems, then process the data to construct the traffic situation and then visualize the traffic data on a graphical map. FIREANTS is designed to be able to feed the data collected from the road and partners to any well known traffic information standard formats for further processing. We provide traffic feeds into different internationally recognized standard format such DATEX2, and XML. Contact us for further information.

Bebas Macet Client is a mobile application client based on Java that can be used to receive visual data from FIREANTS and if the phone supports it, will also provide real time location data to FIREANTS. FIREANTS Client is designed to be efficient in transporting data to reduce mobile data charges. FIREANTS Client requires a JAVA enabled phone, with GPRS/3G data access enabled. A GPS equipped phone will enable the user contribution module automatically, by reporting anonymous data of the position, speed and heading of the phone. Some data charges may be applied by the mobile phone operators.

Features:

  • Small download, less than 60K
  • Auto update, anytime the client is updated, the auto update will trigger a query
  • Incremental search for the Jakarta streets
  • Passive contribution. If your phone is GPS equipped, all you need to do is just run the application in the background, and it will automatically send anonymous speed information to be processed with data from others.
  • Favorite location can be saved between session, so if you find yourself checking the same section of road everyday, just press "*"
  • Accelerated scrolling. If you press your directional pad/joystick twice to the direction you want to scroll, it will double the speed
  • Incident report from Polda Metro Jaya is updated every weekdays (monday to saturday) morning from 6:00am to 10:00am and afternoons from 16:00am to 20:00pm. A daily news on protests or demonstrations on the street is also included
